La danza como dispositivo para fomentar la inclusión y la diversidad (1)_edited.jpg

Introduction

In the framework of the great challenges for education professionals to promote inclusion in the classroom, it is essential to offer training where art is an educational tool, especially dance -since it has almost no presence in the general education curriculum - in the process of creating expansion mechanisms in their modes and teaching methods.  In recent decades, numerous professionals and institutions dedicated to inclusive art have developed inclusive and accessible methodologies with the aim of promoting artistic educational spaces that allow all interested persons to be able to exercise fundamental rights as the right to education or access to culture. To this end, an intensive training program is proposed aimed at expanding fundamental knowledge about inclusive education, social inclusion and inclusive dance, rethinking cooperation strategies that promote educational inclusion and promoting processes that promote the recognition of dance as an inclusive educational tool, posing challenges to generate multilevel plans with other sectors.
